Presented annually by the Society of Professional Motorsports Journalists, the Russo-Marvel Founders Award honors an individual who has demonstrated profound interest, tireless efforts, and unwavering dedication to auto racing—qualities exemplified by our founders, Bob Russo and Bill Marvel, throughout their careers.

Chaired by SPMJ Board President Paul Page and voted by previous winners, the award was originally established by AARWBA and continues its legacy under SPMJ.
