The Society of Professional Motorsports Journalists (SPMJ), established in 2024 by Paul Page and Michael Knight, is a prestigious organization dedicated to supporting and representing professional motorsports journalists. Our mission is to unite journalists, foster industry relationships, and provide valuable resources for professional growth. Built upon the foundation laid by Bob Russo and Bill Marvel for the American Automobile Racing Writers and Broadcasters Association (AARWBA) in 1955, we empower today’s journalists through networking, mentorship, and recognition, while upholding the highest standards of excellence in motorsports journalism.
